As part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have cancelled the 2020 SA & S-Anon Joy of Living retreat. This was a difficult decision for all of us, and we are very sad about it, but we unanimously agreed this was the responsible decision.
We want to make sure that everyone knows the retreat is cancelled and does not show up. Please spread the word at your meetings.
More information will be sent out next week regarding the refund process. This will include an opportunity to make a donation to support the conference center which has so lovingly welcomed and supported our group for years! This is an opportunity to return the favor and give back during this time of crisis as they are facing the reality of laying off staff and possible bankruptcy. There are a lot of other places that have turned our group away, so this is a big deal.
In lieu of the in person retreat, we will be hosting an online, virtual retreat experience on March 28. This will be open to all members regardless of whether they had signed up for the retreat or not. More information on this will be coming next week.
